Krampus Secret Book Shoppe: A Holiday Author Event for Those Who Like Their Stories a Little Darker
Forget the mall. Forget boring holiday shopping. Krampus has his own book shoppe—and he's bringing some seriously twisted stories with him.
The holidays are supposed to be merry and bright. But what if your perfect holiday shopping trip is a little darker?
On Friday, December 4, 2026, Krampus is taking over Nocturnem Draft-Haus in Bangor, Maine, for the Krampus Secret Book Shoppe, an evening of authors, books, local vendors, drinks, holiday mischief, and stories for readers who prefer their Christmas cheer with a sinister twist.
If your holiday shopping list includes horror fans, paranormal enthusiasts, lovers of dark fiction, or readers who simply refuse to settle for boring gifts, this is the event you've been waiting for.
A Holiday Book Event With Teeth
Forget fighting through crowded stores in search of the same gifts everyone else is buying.
The Krampus Secret Book Shoppe is an opportunity to discover something different.
Meet authors. Browse books. Talk with writers about their stories. Find unique gifts from local vendors. Grab a drink and soak up the atmosphere at Nocturnem Draft-Haus.
And while you're there, keep an eye out.
Krampus is watching.
Meet Authors From Across the Genres
The Krampus Secret Book Shoppe isn't limited to one type of story. Readers will have the chance to discover authors working across a wide range of genres, including:
Horror
