A New Game

                To start I think I am done with keeping track of the top 500 albums of all time, right now with school and other things it is kind of hard plus I have always felt that it is hard to do things like that because time has not ended yet and there are still albums to come.  The Endless River by Pink Floyd is a good one.

                Now let’s get started, the play by post game that I play in is going ok, we are in a house with some kobolds looking for an artifact that will help us travel through time and find someone that we need, we have to find for people that have gone missing, and I felt that we should start with this one because it was going to be the hardest.

                The Neverwinter game is slow, I have waited for about a week for two people to get back to me so we are moving on without them.  The group has just entered a fight with an Imp, the mage used magic missile to brake the door open without know what was in the room. 

                I have started playing a new Crypt and Things game that is fun.  I have talked about it on the Northern Clan blog so I am not going to get in to it here but it will be nice when the other player will be able to join us.

                Today I started a new 5 edition game, and I like it.  I am playing a human assassin there is also a druid, a fighter and a barbarian in the group, I am also guessing there is a mage that was not with us today.

                I was thinking that when I went to encounter’s I did not have a lot of fun, but with the group today it was great I don’t know if it is because when I was at encounters everyone was power gaming or if it is because I know with this group, if I went thought a portal in the wall the others would follow.

The join of school

            It has been some time, but I have been working on school work so there has not been a lot of gaming.  But the end is close so there will be more blogs coming.

            Most of the gaming I have done is the Dr, Who game on the tablet it is a fun game.  The other game I have been playing is Diablo III.  I don’t spend a lot of time on that game just because I would like to be doing other things.

            Because I have not been doing any gaming I have not been keeping up on the list of cd on the top 500 albums.  I will try and get back in to that next week.  I have been trying to get through all my podcasts that I listen to, and Spotify, I have been spending some time on that site.

            This week I am going to be starting a new Crypts and Things game so I will have stuff to add to the Northern Clan Blog that will be fun.  I am thinking I am going to play a rouge or a mage, I don’t know yet we will see what the others want to do.  I hope we don’t run in to the sword of the Green Dragon.

            I have been working on B1 for the game I am going to play with my kids and a friend from work.  I am almost done with the first level.  I am thinking I will be ready for that family con in April or May.

A special, Special

 So in my A Gamer a Day blog I told you a little about my encounter, with D&D encounters.  I did not have very much fun.  It was a little bit my fault.  

So here is my first problem, when I went to comic con last year I created a Lawful Evil Assassin, because in the PDF that Wizards of the Coast created about the living realms they stated that if you belonged to one faction you could be an evil character.  While it turns out that even though you are in a living world you cannot play evil, because heaven forbid that something the dark side wins.

So the next problem I had was the dm was not very prepared, there was a lot of oh wait and things like that and when my paladin was the only one that went through the portal the game to a stop because none of the other players wanted to go through, and the dm could not make up his own stuff about what happen.

I might go one more time, because I am trying to find people to play in our group but if I do, I think I am going to have to make a new character and I am not sure I want to do that.  If I do make a new character I might make a TN assassin rouge, I am part of the Lord Alliance so that might work out ok. 

It's lost

                AS I sit here adding songs to a new playlist for when I am writing on my games, it is time to make a new blog.  It has been about three weeks since the last one that is not good.  I am kind of sad this time, I have lost one of my D&D books and am going to have to buy it again.  It was Dragons of Hope, DL 3. 

                I have not been writing like I should be, and will refocus starting today when I am done with my blogs.  I can’t wait to be done with my Masters because then I will be able to focus every day on my games and the things I need to do for that.  I have two videos that I have to make today, I will get those done when I am done blogging.

                The D&D Next game is going good.  It would be a little better if there was more than just my cousin and I plus the DM.  So if you are readying this and life close to the Orem, Utah area we would love to have you stop by and try it out.  I went to Encounters to try and find more people and I might try one more time but I don’t think it will pan out.  As far as the Encounter itself went I did not like it too much, I don’t know if it was the game or the people I was playing with but I will do a special on that.

                The two Play by Post games, kind of took a back sit of a min, but now they are going again, the game I am playing in all the players are awake and we are heading to kill some goblins.  The Neverwinter game is about to meet some bad guys, I am kind of hoping they run in to the demons that are keeping the bell tower.

                With school and podcast I have not been doing well at my music list, but here is what I have.

410: Bob Dylan; (Time0 Out of Mind).  I would keep this one, and play it in the shop.

409: The Door; (Strange Days).  It’s a Hit.

408: Sinead O’ Connor; (I Do Not Want What I Don’t Have).  This album was ok, but I would not play it again.

407: The Clash; (Samdomosta) I liked this one and would use it again.

406: PJ Harvey; (Rid of Me) I would keep this album as while.

It's Game Time

            It is that time again to look at what happen this week in gaming.  I did not work on writing the Neverwinter game, so there is much that needs to be done in the coming week.  There is word that we might be going back to Crypts and Things so there will be more Northern Clan blogs.

            The Neverwinter game is going great.  The bard is now part of the group.  They are starting to try and figure out what happen to the rouge, what they don’t know is that she is not coming back.  So now it is time to explore the House of Knowledge, it will be great.  I am thinking that I am going to leave the organ in the house and just lower the value of it, because they are going to get it right off, or will have it move if they are able to turn it off.

            The play by email game I am playing in might be dying; I am the only one that has been posting for about a week and a half now.  I am going to get some hirelings because I don’t what to stop playing yet.  One person might be post again, but his character is freezing.

            The 5e game is going good.  My cousin and I are the only ones that ever show up, so after the starter we are going back to Crypts and Things.  This week we made it to Thunder Rock, or whatever it was called.  The fight with the dragon was great we all most killed it, but that was only because my cousin’s characters rolled three crits on it.

            There will be a new YouTube show up tonight I am going to start working on a new project, I am going to be looking at all the books I have, and going through them and all the good things they have.  And might have just got a new idea, for a weather show, for D&D.

            419: Portishead (Dummy).  This one was good, I would use it in the store.

            418: Paul McCartney and Wings: (Band on The Run).  I know who Sir Paul is, and I will listen to this again and play it in the store.

            417: U2; (Boy).  This was good, I would play it again in the store, but is not my fav U2, so I would not play it at home.

            416: Tom Waits, (Mule Variations).  This cd’s was ok.

            415: Van Halen (Van Halen).  Good stuff here, keep it going.

            414: The Go-Go’s, (Beauty and the Beast). We got the Beat was the only song I liked so I might play it in the store but not at home.

            413: Minuteman, (Doubles Nickels on the Dime) f bombs away.

            412: Wire (Pig Flag).  This was a good album, I would play it in the store and again when I was working on stuff.

            411: Eric Clapton (461 Ocean Boulevard).  This I would play in the store.

Some Game Stuff and My Game.

  
 

     To start this week, I wanted to share something I think is cool.  I found it by listening to the RFI Podcast.  It is a book about adding to the doors you use in your game, it is called; Brick by Brick: Doors, by Moebius Adventures.  It can be bought on Drive through RPG for 2.00.
      I don't know if I am going to buy it, I like having a hard copy, but I am going to use some of the ideas in it.  I am going to use some of the door types in the Tower of An'Rok in my Neverwinter game.
      I don't really larp, but I was really excited when Evermore Park announced they were coming to Pleasant Grove, while now after them saying many things and nothing happening, I have decided that it is not going to happen and if it does they are not going to be in Utah County.  I am not happy but will find somewhere else to spend my money at like the North Texas RPG Con.
      I have done very little writing this week, it has been one of those weeks that you just want to stay in bed all week.  This week is going to be better. I am going to spend most of Friday night working on the Neverwinter game, at the game store so I might be able to focus. 
      This week I also need to work on getting Escape from Cyclops Island second draft done.  That will not take long; I just need to do it.  I have to stay focused on these two projects and get them done.

            Well I am working on when my kids, and I can have our family con.  I need to give one of my friends time so he can bring his little boy.  It is going to so much fun, and all that good stuff.  We would like to get each of the kids there own dice so I might do it after we can get them dice and I have a mini for the Marvel super Hero game we are going to play.

            So it is that time to look at my music list.  There are only two today.

            421: Various Artists, (The Best of Girl Groups V. I and II.)  This would be a good one to hang on too.

            420: Buddy Holly and the Crickets, (The Chirping Crickets).  This one was good.

The New Year.

            This is the first post of the new year, so there is much to share.  I was finally able to get to my face to face game.  It was good, I am playing a Dwarven Cleric.  We are playing through the mod that comes in the D&D Next Starter Set, so far it is good.  The thing that stood out for the game was I told the ranger to kill the rat that was in the room with us, he did not and it came back to haunt him, for the wizards cast a spell through the rat.

            The Neverwinter game is going good; I have one more person that will be joining us, as soon as the players find him.  They are fighting a storm orc, and then they will be at the House of Knowledge.  I have done some writing for the game but I will write that in the other blog.

            The 4e game that I am playing in, is also going good.  We are about to hunt down some kobolds, we might have to travel in the snow, that might be fun.  I think it is funny I am playing a striker, but seem to be the one leading the team.

            With the New Year comes a renew effort to going the business going in the right direction.  So I am starting with two goals.  The first being Phase I, getting the podcast back up, and get it producing.  Part of that plain is getting better equipment so it will be a better podcast.  I have found a fourth person that will be part of the show so we will have some good games.

            The second thing that I am shooting for in Q1 is to get Escape from Cyclops Island to the mark it.  That means get it typed on the new computer, and get the art work I need.  I am going to push to get this done.  We are still going to be making YouTube shows but that is more focus in Phase II so that is where we are with that.

            While on the Music list I was disappointed with all of the ones I heard this week so I am just going to tell you what they are .

This week in Gaming #23

            While Christmas has come and gone, and we are all still here.  I don’t have a music list this time, I have been trying to get my Itunes list on my new tablet, and youtube is not working for me so there is that.

            There is a new game store in the Provo mall, it is called the Puzzler; it is kind of cool.  I am not sure if it is just one of those stores that is only around for the season and then it is gone.  It is kind of small so it would not be a good hang out place.  I hope that it is a round for a while the Provo store really needs shops.  I did find one this at this store that I would love to have.  The Dr. Who risk, the armies are all derlike, so I would have to start every turn by shouting Exterminate.

            The play by post games are going really well.  In the game I am playing we are about to time travel so that will be fun.  I am starting to think that my assassin will multiclass as a mage or just get training to so she can use rituals. 

            My Neverwinter game is going great.  The group is about to start the House of Knowledge, that is going to be fun, I can’t wait until they get to the monster I have created.  The book worm, there are some parts that are like the purple worm, but I needed something as a base, I might change it as we go.  While it is short this time but until next time Keep Gaming.

Special Christmas

      While here it is Christmas day.  I hope that everyone had a good time . 
      It was a good day for me, I got a new tablet so maybe I can do more A Game A Day.  I got some writing done on the Neverwinter  game, I really need to work on my other games. 
      I got some Apples to Apples in, that is always a good game.  I also played a game that was like Family Feud, that was good fun.  Santa got one of my daughters a memory game.

This week in Gaming #22

            While I am now o and 3 to play 5E, but there is a new year coming so we will see what happens with that.  I am on break for school so this week I am going to go to my local game store and get into some Encounters and see if I can’t get a few more players.  I will be buying the Players Hand Book on the 16^th of the New Year.

            While I am on break I will get a ton of writing done on the Neverwinter game, you can read about what is going on in the Neveragain blog.  The game is going good; the group is almost done with the last battle before the House of Knowledge. 

            I will also be working some on my Magic decks, I need to try and see about rebuilding my blue and black faire deck, my curse deck and the red and human deck.  I will also be trying to get my assassin deck done.  Then I have to get more stuff up on the store.

            I need to get things planed out for the company’s next year.  I have to get the podcast back up.  I need to get the new blog up for the D&D fantasy Football that we are looking at doing. It is my goal to have Escape from Cyclops Island to market by the end of Q1.

            The other 4e game that I am playing in is going really good.  We just got some new gear to help us in our quest.  So we will see what happens with that.

            433: George Harrison, (All Things Must Pass).  This was a good cd; I would play it again, and would play it at the store.

            432: Brian Eno; (Here Come the Warm Jets).  This one was ok, I don’t know if I would use it at the store.

            431: PJ Harvey; (Stories of the City, Stories of the Sea).  This was ok, it was a little soft for my style, but I would play it in the shop.

            430: Vampire Weekend, (Vampire Weekend).  This album has an F bomb or two, so I would not use it in the shop.  But it was an ok cd.

            429: Brian Eno; (Another Green World).  I really like this album; I would listen to it again and play it in the shop.

            428; the Police, (Outlandos D’Amour).  This was a good cd, and I would play it again.

            427; Peter Wolf; (Sleepless).  I would play this in the shop, but I did not like it so I would not listen to it again.

            426: Cheap Trick; (At Budokan).  Good stuff.

This week in Gaming #21 Part 2

So part two of this post.  This week I was able to buy some gaming stuff.  For less than 24 hours I had my own copy of the 5e Players hand book, I might get it again this coming Friday.  I also got the Alice in Wonderland comic book I am going to be using that for Ideas for my game setting.  I also got an art book of Grim Fairy Tales, that is for comic con costume ideas.  I will do a blog for Wonderland latter after I do the Neverwinter one.

            I think that is it for the gaming side of things for now, so let’s get back in to the music list.

            447: Stan Getz and Joao Gilberto, (Getz/Gilberto). This was more Spanish music so no.

            446: MC5, (Back In The USA).  This one I would play again, and would play in the store.

            445: Steve Miller Band, (Fly Like An Eagle). I would play this cd again and in the store.

            444: War, (The World Is A Ghetto.)  I don’t think I would use this cd.

            443: Cheap Trick, (In Color).  I would play this one some more.

            442: Devo. (Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo!). I could keep this one.

            441: Suicide, (Suicide).  This was a good cd, and I would listen to it again, and would play it in the store.

            440: The Pogues, (Rum Sodomy and The Lash).  This album was ok.

            439: Sam Cook, (Live At The Harlem Square Club, 1963).  This was a good album, and I would use it again.

            438: The Cure, (Boy Don’t Cry). 

            437: Lil Wayne, (Tha Carter III).  Normaly I would give a person a chance know this is rap, but lately Lil Wayne has done things that I feel I would never support this Moron so I did not even listen to this cd, nor would I ever buy.

            436: Beck (Sea Change).

            435: Nirvana, (In Utero).  I like Nirvana, and would listen to it again, and maybe if I played it in the store my wife would come in and visit.

            434: Big Star, (#1 Record).  I really like this album, and I would use it again.

This week in gaming #21 part one

            While it has been two weeks, so this blog is going to have two parts, so I can get through my music list.  In two weeks there are two chances to play D&D 5e starter set, and I am now 0/2 at playing that game.  Next week I will be playing for sure.

            So what have I been doing for two weeks?  That is easy the first week due to school the only thing I did was work on the music list, because that can be done while I work on school papers.  I also did my play by post games.

            The 4e game that I am playing in is going good, we just killed a young blizzard dragon, and know we are getting on a space ship.  The game is based around Mass Effect.  So far it is cool.

            The Neverwinter game I will, talk more about in the Neverwinter blog.  It is going good though.  I am adding on more players, so the only NPC I will have is the Dwarven Cleric that is leading the team.

            It looks like the family con, Long Con is going to happen during my Christmas break, I that way I won’t have to take time off of work.  So I need to look at getting a hotel room on Friday when I get paid.

            While I think that is it for the gaming section this week, so let us look at the music list of the top 500 greatest albums ever.

            456: Marvin Gaye, (Here My Dear).  This would be an ok album to listen to again, or to play at the store.

            455: Los Lobos, (How Will The Wolf Survive?)  This was all in Spanish so I would not listen to it again and not in the store.

            454: Alice Cooper, (Love It To Death).  Another good album all the way around.

            453: EPMD, (Strictly Business).  This album was also ok and I would use it in my store as back ground Nosie.

              452: John Prine, (John Prine).  This cd would be ok for older people that might, come in to the store but I would not listen to it again.

            451: Amy Winehouse, (Back To Black).  I would not listen to this again, just because it is not my thing but I might play it in the store.

            450: Jackson Browne, ( For Everyman).  I can’t remember what I heard on this cd, there might have been an F bomb.

            449: Big Star, (Third/Sister Lovers).  There is going to be another album on the list form this band, and I really liked that one but not this one so much.

This week in gaming # 2o

While it is a new week, I have only done 15 min of writing on the Neverwinter game, but I need to get on it.  The group is on their way to the House of Knowledge and I have to have something ready for them when they are done with the house.  I will spend some time working on the game tonight.

            I was hoping to start play D&D 5e today, but one of my friends had to take care of his kids because his wife got called in to work.  While next week we should have enough people to play at the Lehi Dragon’s Keep.  It will be will pre-gen’s I am going to be playing the Dwarf Cleric. 

            I have started playing a new play by post game.  It is 4e, so we will see how that goes, this will be only the second time I have been a player.  This is the first game that was not part of a con, so it should be good.  I am playing an assassin.  She has two suits of armor that she will use at different times, for no other reason than she likes looking good. 

            She also as a Ki focus, I have never used one of those so it will be a learning experience. The Ki Focus is called the Ghost Strike Ki Focus, it can be found in the Players Hand Book III.  It allows me to help things even when they are in ghost form.

            While I think that is all the game stuff I have this week so let’s get in to the music I listen to while working on game stuff.  This week has been a good week, I don’t think there are any CD’s that I would not listen to again or in the store.

Anonther week in Gaming

         While this week has had it’s up’s and down’s.  I found out that Table Top Con is a no go for the coming year.  I was not surprised by this, when the new people took over getting it ready they did not seem to in to it. The only sad thing is that I was getting a costume made for the con, now I will have to wait until Comic Con.

            Plans are still moving forward for the family con I am going to do with my kids.  My kids love playing Boarderlands with me so I am going to create a RPG for the game.  I am just going to use a d6 system.  It should be a ton of fun for them.  I think I am still going to a B1 Castles and Crusades game.

            I need to get to work on that, and more work on the Neverwinter game, this week I will be working on the Many Arrow clan of Orc’s.  The reason they are attacking the city is because it is getting hotter, and I need something to happen before the Green Dragon attacks.  It is only going to be for a few rounds, just enough to get them hooked and for the king to hear about them.

            The play by post game is going good.  They are at the house of Andru the wizard right now learning about the artifacts he wants them to find.  And of a Air Ship that is powered by the spirit of a Copper Dragon.

            As I get to the second draft of this game, will be changing the Vault area of the House of Knowledge, I did not put in as many traps as I wanted to, and the priest needs to be a little crazier.

            I am getting things set up to have another blog on my website.  This blog is going to be about what most people know as Blood Bowl.  I am going to do it for D&D.  I hope to grow it, but right now I have five teams. 

            While now that I have all of that out of the way, let us look at what albums I have listened to this week. So starting at 470.

            470: LL Cool J; “Radio”.  It’s rap but that was not my problem with this cd, the problem was that I felt like my ears were bleeding it was really bad.

            469: The Fugees; “The Score”.  This was also some bad rap.

            468: The Paul Butterfield Blues Band; “The Paul Butterfield Blues Band”  I love me some blues.  This I would play again and play in my shop.

            467: Bruce Springsteen “Tunnel of Love”.  Who does not love the Boss, I would play this over and over again.

            466: Coldplay; “A Rush of Blood to the Head”. I would keep this album on hand for the shop or for when I am doing some writing.  And there you have it so until next time Keep Gaming.

This week in gaming # I quite Counting

      While the only gaming this week as been my two play by post games.  The one i am playing is is going good we are still fighting some goblins.  I like the idea that being a War Priest I can get a free attack.  There is a second cleric in the group and he is healing everyone, so I will stay focused on killing the goblins.
      The Second game I am DMing.  It is going good, we are in our first combat, and it seems to be working out.  We are playing my Neverwinter game.  Last night I was able to get some good writing done, and will write about the in the Neverwinter blog.  I should be getting one more player that could be really good.
      This coming weekend I should be starting a 5E game, I am looking forward to that, it has been some times scene I have played at a table.  I am thinking about creating a paladin for the game and then I will come up with my own oath just to see how that goes.
      This weekend was Aethercon, I was not able to play in that because I had to finish a paper.  I am really sad about that, the games I was in looked like a lot of fun, I was going to play my 5e Assassin, and Tim Kask was on one of the panels.
      I have to start getting my adventure ready for Tabletop Con.  I am going to run B1 in search of the unknow as a Castle and Crusades game.  I hope that the Con is going to happen, I have not heard anything lately.  I might use B1 for the con I am going to do with my kids.

      491 Albert King "Born Under A Bad Sign"  This is a good Album, and I would listen to it at a gaming table or while I was eating some good food.
      490 ZZ Top "Tres Hombres"  I have to admit I love me some ZZ Top so this is a yes all the way.
      489 Kiss "Destroyer" Again growing up listening to Kiss, I would play this over and over again.
      488 Husker Du "New Day Rising".  This is the great thing about trying new things.  I have never heard of the group and this album was really good, I would playing it in my shop.
      487 Cyndi Lauper "She's so Unusual".  Girls just want to have fun, I don't know if I would listen to this album again while working on my writing, but I would play it in my store.
      486 Earth, Wind and Fire "That's the way of the World".  I would not play this Cd again or play it any of my shops, there are a few f bombs in this album.
      485 Pearl Jam "Vitalogy".  Music for Rhino's is music for everyone.  This is a Cd that I would play more.
      484 Mott the Hoople "All the Young Dudes".  This was good.
      483 Gang of Four "Entertainment".  This is not something I would play in my shop or listen to at home it really just not my thing.
      482 Steve Earle "Guitar Town".  I would play this sometimes in the shop for the older people that would bring in their grand kinds.
      481 D'Angelo "Voodoo".  This album is also about the rap so it is out in my book.
      480 Rackwon "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx" also about the rap.
      479 Funkadelic "Maggot Brain".  This was some good stuff, I would play it in the shop.
      478 Loretta Lynn, "All Time Greatest Hits"  More old time country music.
      477 Merle Haggard "Down Every Road" Even More old time country music.
      476 The Notorious B.I.G "Life After Death". More rap.
      475 Elvis Costello and the Attractions "Armed Forces".  I think everyone likes a little Elvis Costello, so I will play it more.
      474 Manu Chao "Proxiam Estacion Seperanza".  I could not understand anything on this album, but the beat was good.
      473 The Smiths " The Smiths".  This was a good cd.
      472 George Michael "Faith"  There were only two songs on this CD, that I would play again, so I am going to say no on this one.
      471 Richard & Linda Thompson "I Want to See the Bright Lights Tonight".  this is an other CD, that I would play for the older people that come in.

This week in gaming # I don't know anymore.

      Due to working on school and other stuff, I am not done to much gaming this week.  I have started a play by post game for my Neverwinter game.  So far it is going good, I have three players and maybe a fourth on the way.
      So Bryce Con is starting to gear up for their first year.  they have all the details on there website.  http://www.brycecon.com/registration.html.  It sounds like it is going to be fun. 
      I am starting to get a little worried about TableTop Con, it was about this time last year that I was getting my tickets.  I kind of though there would be some problems this year with it.  I still have hope that it will turn out ok.  It will be ok if it is a no go, not only will I be able to save money on not going to the con, I won't have to spend money on my costume.
     I am going to start a family Con with my kids, so i will still be able to play games.  I am going to have a D&D game, I am going to make a store for Marvel SuperHero's and then we have some board games like D&D Clue, and Dragon Quest.  The kids are looking forward to it.
     This next week end is also AetherCon, This is the First time I am going to be doing that, it should be fun.  I think that is it, so until Next time Keep Gaming.
     

Not Much Gaming

      it's has been kind of a slow week, I only worked on Neverwitner for 15 min this past week.  there are no game either.
      I have been talking to the people that are doing Bryce Con, in South Utah on January 15-19 2015, I am going to share with you what I can about the Con, but this year my family are going to have our own con.
      I am going to do a Marvel Super Hero game based on the Marvel Civil War.  I think the kids are going to like it.
     So now on the music list that I am doing right now.
This week I listened to albums 489-484 and I have to say that the only one I would not listen to again or play in my store is the Earth, Wind and Fire.

One week and something new

      This week started with my Birth Day being on Monday.  The plan was to go to the local game store and work on Neverwinter.  I got two rooms done and then someone wanted to play games. I told him I would join him if he could find other people to play.  I wanted to play a card game called Gloom or Munchkin Cuthlu.  We end up playing Pandemic.
      Pandemic is a great game that I will be buying.  The starter game comes with four deceases, that you have to destroy, there is a add on that gives you a purple decease.  The other colors are red, blue, black and yellow.  They come with a tray that you can name each one.  I am going to name the Yellow one Elobia.  The Red one will Demonitis, and the Black one will be The Curse of Cain.  I still need to come up with names for Blue and Purple.  Pandemic is also a great learning tool one it uses real cities through out the world, and I never new the Starting point of the game is Atlanta Georgia home of the CDC.
      Through the week I have finished up to room 10 of the vault section.  Part of room 11 is done, I have to add the treasure of the four chest that are in the room.  There are 15 rooms so I will have it done this week, I have one more monster area and then the big bad in the last room.  I am thinking I will add a second demon encounter in the up coming area and then the High Priest that lives in the house.
      While I am working on my school work on writing for the up coming game or what ever, I focus better when I am  listening to something, most of the time it is Pink Floyd or some podcast like Save or Die or Spellburn.  While I have decided to try something new for a time.  The other day one of my friends share the Rolling Stones list the top 500 albums of all time.  Now I am not going to get in to the fact that it can't be of all time because The Endless River has not come out yet.  The idea is that I will listen to each album and share if I would use it while I write or play it in my store when that time come.
      #500 OutKast "Aquemini" This is a Gangster Rap cd.  I would not listen to this ever again let a lone play it in a store where families shopped.  The biggest reason is they drop the N word a 100,000 times in each song.
      #499 B.B King Live in Cook County Jail:  Love me some blues, this is something I would listen to while working on a project, and share with the customers of my game store.
      #498; The Stone Roses "The Stone Roses":  I have never heard this group before, but it is good I would use it.
      #497; The White Strips "White Blood Cells":   This is a good album, and I would use it to help me write and to share at the store.
      #496; Boz Scaggs; "Boz Scaggs"  I would play this is the store for some people, but I would not listen to it again, it is not my style.  That goes for the next one has while.
      #495 Bonnie Ratt; "Give it Up"
      #494 MGMT "Oracular Spectacular"  This one is good I would listen to it again and would play it in the shop.

      #492 Eurythmic "Touch" not only is this one good the first song is here comes the rain, a song that inspired the song for one of my rouges that had mental issues the song was called here come the snakes again.

The Vault

      Most of my gaming related stuff this week has just be reading Of Dice and Men.  I really enjoy that book, if I was going to give you two books to read it would be Of Dice and Men, and the second would be Ready Player One.
      The writing that I was able to do this week has been working on the Vault.  The lower level of the House of Knowledge.  So I will blog about that in the Neveragain blog,
      The play by post game I am playing in is going slow, but I am enjoying it.  We are about to start our first encounter.  After climbing through a goblin hole.  I have challenged the other dwarf's to a contest to kill the most bad guys.  the loser has to buy the drinks next time we get to a bar.
      Today my five year old daughter and my three year old son told me they need D&D characters, she whats a mage, and my boy we will see what he comes up with.  I have been thinking for some time now that we are going to start playing  Dragon Quest so now we are going to start doing that.  I will make it more for their age, I know that the little one will want to play too.
      I have been thinking that with Escape From Cyclops Island, I am either going to find some open source art or have no art for this one.  I want to do it right but want to get it out there so I can start working on the next one 40 days and nights.  Or I am just going to call it 40 days at sea.
      I have been that instead of going to TableTop Con, this year the whole family will head done to southern Utah for Bryce Con.  There is talk that Fan X is going to be in January this coming year and I don't think it is going to be very good to I was to stay way form SLC during that time.  while I think that is it for this week so until next time Keep Gaming.

Some Games and some Good Stuff

      I really should start with last weeks one shot DCC.  This is a great game, the mission was to say some people from our village.  At the starting of the game there were 12 characters that tried having fun storming the castle.  My friend from work really wanted to play a Halfling and was able to do so, the great thing was that the Halfling was the second to die only 20 min after the game started.
      In the end we killed the main bad guy, but then the only person that lived through that fight died fighting a lizard folk.  If you are looking for a Good game with an Old School Fell check out Dungeon Crawl Classic the game where being the smartest player can still get you killed.
      I have started playing in a new play by post game.  It is a D&D 5e game set in 2e Forgotten Realms, so far it is fun.  I am playing a Female Dwarven Cleric, and have started some trash talking with the other two Dwarfs.
      Right now we are tracking an Elf and goblin, that attacked the caravan that we were guarding.  They took some kind of magical item.  I am kind of hoping that at some point we go to the Ice Wind Dale, I have always wanted to play a game there.
      I have got a lot of work done on my Neverwinter game, I have been working on new Monster called the book worm, I have finished that and will share with you my first draft on my Neverwiner blog.  I am now working on the vault part of the House of Knowledge, so by the end of this coming week I will be done with the House and can move on with that.
      I am really excited on November 1st there is going to be a game day at the UofU in Salt Lake City Utah.  it is going to be some good fun, most of the gaming people I play with are all going to go up and maybe play of CoC.
      I am also thinking that it is just about time to start getting ready for the con in Jan, i am going to be running the Keep part of Keep on the boarderlands it is going to be a Castles and Crusades version of the game.  While until next time Keep Gaming.
