A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens is a holiday classic. There is no doubt whatever about that. As a result, there have been countless interpretations and variations on the theme. In fact, for many, seeing a stage production or at least watching one of the film versions of the story every year is a holiday tradition… For the past three years, E.D.G.E. of Orion has staged A Klingon Christmas Carol (written by Christopher Kidder-Mostrom & Sasha Warren, translated by Chris Lipscombe) here in Chicago. It is a wonderful interpretation of the story…

Night in Alachua County - Review

Horror is a genre that is quite difficult to portray effectively, and taking the scary to the stage only makes it more tedious. Luckily, Wildclaw Theatre shows their mastery of this craft in "Night in Alachua County". What makes this play so effective at horror? Because it's like Barry White's sweaty armpit; deep, dark, uncomfortable and above all dripping with atmosphere.

The Tragedy of He-Manlet, Prince of Eternia - Review

New Millenium Theatre Company's "The Tragedy of He-Manlet, Prince of Eternia" is the result when the plot of "Hamlet" combines with the universe of He-Man that surprisingly creates a compelling piece of entertainment.
