Kris Kringle Market & Book Shoppe Brings Holiday Shopping, Local Authors, and Unique Finds to Park Ridge
Holiday Shopping. Local Authors. Unique Finds.
The holiday shopping season is about to get a whole lot more interesting.
On Sunday, November 15, 2026, the Kris Kringle Market & Book Shoppe will bring local authors, independent creators, unique vendors, and plenty of holiday shopping opportunities to Beer on the Wall in Park Ridge, Illinois.
If you're looking for a gift that's more memorable than something pulled from a department-store shelf, this festive afternoon is the perfect opportunity to shop local, meet the people behind the books and products, and discover something unexpected.
And yes, there will be plenty of books.
Skip the Crowds and Shop Local
Holiday shopping doesn't have to mean battling crowded malls or searching endlessly for something that feels personal.
The Kris Kringle Market & Book Shoppe offers a different kind of shopping experience—one where you can meet authors, talk with creators, browse unique merchandise, and find gifts you won't see at the typical holiday store.
Whether you're searching for the perfect present for a book lover, a stocking stuffer, a handmade gift, or something completely unexpected, there will be plenty to explore.
Bring your shopping list. Bring a friend. Grab a drink and make an afternoon of it.
Meet Local Authors
For book lovers, the author lineup is one of the biggest reasons to stop by.
Guests will have the chance to meet local authors, talk about their work, discover new books, and shop across a wide range of genres.
You'll find stories and books spanning:
Poetry
Children's Books
Young Adult
Horror
Paranormal
Science Fiction
Thrillers
Fantasy
Romance
Mystery
True Crime
Fiction and Non-Fiction
That means there's something for almost every reader on your holiday shopping list.
Looking for a terrifying novel for your favorite horror fan? A fantasy adventure for a devoted reader? A children's book for a young reader? A mystery for someone who loves solving crimes from the comfort of their couch?
You just might find it here.
Discover Unique Gifts and Local Vendors
Books are only part of the experience.
The Kris Kringle Market & Book Shoppe will also feature local vendors and independent creators offering bookish goodies, handmade items, unique gifts, and other finds that are difficult to discover in conventional stores.
This is an opportunity to support local businesses while finding gifts that have personality.
Instead of another mass-produced present, give someone something created by an independent artist, maker, author, or small business.
Shop local. Find something unexpected. Give something with a story behind it.
