Ohio Comic Con 2014: Day Three Photos

The last day of Wizard World Ohio Comic Con 2014.  Of course, the Columbus weather was a bit better with clear, sunny skies to offset the forty-degree temperatures.  As usual, Sunday was much quieter than the day before, as always, but still buzzing with plenty of activity and last-minute bargain shopping.

And yes, there was still cosplay everywhere you looked. Here's the final batch of photos from Day Three...

Ohio Comic Con 2014: Day Two Photos

Wizard World Ohio Comic Con 2014 had its biggest day today at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, with Norman Reedus, Steven Yuen, Sean Astin, Nicholas Brendon, Emma Caulfield, and others signing autographs and posing for pictures with fans.

With the heavy Saturday attendance, I wasn't able to do as much shopping, but I picked up a few bargain comics, attended the Team Con-Doc Doctor Who panel, and of course, got a lot of great cosplay photos.

Ohio Comic Con 2014: Day One Photos

A very chilly but very productive first day at the Wizard World Ohio Comic Con 2014 inside the Greater Columbus Convention Center.  There were plenty of great bargains to be found in comics bins and a decent sized crowd for what was essentially half a convention day.  On a personal level, I scored a great Silver Age Flash issue featuring Captain Cold, a nice War Doctor from Doctor Who shirt, and a bunch of Bronze Age comics to fill some gaps in my collection.

And yes, I managed to get some photos from inside the convention...Enjoy!

Ohio Comic Con 2013: Day Three Photos

Today was the last day of Wizard World Ohio Comic Con 2013. Fortunately, the Columbus weather cooperated magnificently, with clear sunny skies and temperatures in the high sixties.  As expected, Sunday was much quieter than the day before, as always, but still buzzing with plenty of activity and last-minute bargain shopping.

And yes, there was still tons of cosplay everywhere you looked.  Here's the final batch of photos from Day Three...

Ohio Comic Con 2013: Day Two Photos

Wizard World Ohio Comic Con 2013 had its biggest day today at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, with William Shatner, Michael Rooker, Chandler Riggs, Sean Astin, Summer Glau, Ron Glass, Ernie Hudson and others signing autographs and posing for pictures with fans.

I attended four panels, including ones featuring Michael Rooker and William Shatner, as well as the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary panel discussion made up of Ohio Whovians and not me for some insane reason.  The evening highlight was the annual costume contest, which filled the entire Terrace Ballroom upstairs to capacity and was highly entertaining thanks to some creative cosplayers.

Here's some of the ones that stood out...

This guy's Iron Man suit was AMAZING. He won Best Male Hero at the costume contest.

Yes, FRANKEN BERRY. This guy won Best In Show at the costume contest, which was totally deserved. I wish my blurry picture did this justice.

Ohio Comic Con 2013: Day One Photos

A very humid but very productive first day at the Wizard World Ohio Comic Con 2013 inside the Greater Columbus Convention Center.  There were plenty of great bargains to be found in comics bins and a surprisingly large number of people cosplaying compared to the first day last year.  Also managed to catch glimpses of William Shatner, Summer Glau and Michael Rooker signing at their tables, but thanks to the Wizard World Photo Police, sadly no photos for me to share.  You'll just have to trust me they were there.

Ohio Comic Con 2012: Day Three Photos

This year's Ohio Comic Con is officially in the history books.  An understandably less crowded day than Saturday, but still busy with activity for the most part.  Sundays seem better for comic hunting with less guys around who need to learn the wonders of underarm deodorant elbowing you for position in the rows of comic boxes.  Anyway, here's one last set of photos.  Hope to see you there next year!

Ohio Comic Con 2012: Day Two Photos

Well, Day Two of Ohio Comic Con 2012 was all kinds of insanely busy with celebrities such as Sir Patrick Stewart, Val Kilmer, Norman Reedus, Eliza Dushku, Dean Cain, John de Lancie and others signing autographs.  Had a great time catching up with old friends from Medina Senior High School and the amateur press association TitanTalk and of course, I have a few more photos to share.  Hope you like 'em!

Ohio Comic Con 2012: Day One Photos

Day One of Mid-Ohio-Con Mid-Ohio Comic Con Ohio Comic Con 2012 was essentially a preview night before the big stuff happens on Saturday and Sunday.  However, it gave me the opportunity to buy my comics professional pass for the weekend (No comp pass this year, sadly) and take a few advance photos.  Keep checking back this weekend for more, okay?
