Jack Wengrosky - 'Nuff Said, Input Junkie, Input Junkie Satellite, Baker Street. As the former 1st trumpet, soloist and clinician from the US Army Field Band Jazz Ambassadors, the Army’s elite touring orchestra, Master Sergeant, (retired) Jack Wengrosky has toured 49 states and 15 countries. While with the band, he has made appearances with seven major symphonies including Baltimore, Cincinnati, and the Boston Pops and performed for the last six Presidents of the United States as well as numerous TV and radio appearances.
Jack received his MM at the University of North Texas where he was lead trumpet in the prestigious One O’clock Lab band and a BA in Business Admin and Music at Elmhurst College. His teachers include Don Jacoby, Arnold Jacobs, Bobby Shew, Keith Johnson and Rich Corpolongo, and Doug Beach. He has 25 CDs to his credit as well as having performed with Diane Schurr, Doc Severinsen, Freddie Hubbard, Joe Williams, and many more. Jack has been an instructor at Frisco ISD, Loyola Blakefield Academy , and private lesson studios in Chicagoland and D.C. areas
He currently resides in Columbia, MD and is a Sergeant Major in the Maryland Defense Force, a bugler in the Maryland National Guard Honor Guard, the musical director of the Music & Arts Big Band, adjunct faculty at Northwestern HS, and an educational sales rep for Rosso Music. Still very active in the DC music scene and new to the podcast realm, Jack is excited about getting back into broadcasting and rekindling old interests in the Marvel Universe.
