TITANTALK 009: "Hawk and Dove" is Up!

"Can we talk?"
"You’re about four years too late, but sure."
-- Dick Grayson and Dawn Granger, Titans: "Hawk and Dove"

That's right, my fellow TitanTalker Jesse Jackson and I are back with another new episode of TitanTalk: The Titans Podcast!  This time, we discuss "Hawk and Dove", the second episode of the new DC Universe series Titans, featuring the introductions of Alan Ritchson as Hawk and Minka Kelly as Dove, and the first appearance of The Nuclear Family!

In this episode, Jesse and I discuss things like Akiva Goldsman being very hit-or-miss, Minka Kelly being the daughter of an Aerosmith guitarist, the huge controversy of pineapple on pizza, Hawk taking the needle and his erectile dysfunction, Hank feeling threatened by Dick Grayson, my being a fan of Hawk and Dove since the '80s, old school TitanTalker Barbara (Randall) Kesel, Hawk and Dove's costumes, original Dove Don Hall, Dove's feelings for Robin, Donna Troy being a part of their superhero clique, hoping Raven will heal Dove's injuries, superheroes with bird codenames, wondering how Dick and Rachel stayed at a "Michigan Hotel" in Ohio, Dick wondering if Rachel should be watching Game of Thrones, Raven being able to detect when someone lies, Dawn and Rachel bonding, Hawk and Dove being shocked by Robin's violence, the F-bomb being more effective when it's not used every sentence, the introduction of obscure Outsiders villains the Nuclear Family, wondering if Dick's partner Amy Rohrbach is still alive, the big conspiracy to get Rachel, my wife Lori's reaction to the episode, another interesting edit from the original trailers, feedback from my brother-in-law John Brockhaus and Ken Rosen, the generational differences of Titans fans, and more!
