THE FLASH Teases SUPERGIRL Crossover & DC TV Multiverse

The DC TV Multiverse is here and nothing will ever be the same!

During last night's episode of the CW's The Flash, "Welcome to Earth-2," DC Comics fans received fun teases for the upcoming crossover with CBS' Supergirl, and some upcoming characters appearing on The Flash and its spinoff Legends of Tomorrow.

As Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) and Dr. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) traveled through a dimensional breach from their Earth to the parallel world of Earth-2 to help Wells save his daughter, viewers were treated to a montage of fleeting images featuring various DC Comics characters.  Here's the complete rundown...

New Green Arrow

A brand-new Green Arrow who doesn't resemble Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell).  Connor Hawke seems a likely possibility, perhaps in the upcoming Legends of Tomorrow episode "Star City 2046"?

The Flash (1990-91)

John Wesley Shipp's version of The Flash from the original The Flash series that aired on CBS from 1990-91.  Interestingly, the image is reversed (Note the chest emblem), so was this just a fun nod to the original series or a sly way to fuel rumors that Shipp's Earth-2 Henry Allen is Zoom, the Earth-2 Reverse-Flash?

Supergirl (Melissa Benoist)

Grodd

The intelligent super-gorilla was last seen in the episode "Gorilla Warfare," where he was sent through a dimensional breach from Earth-1 to a jungle sanctuary for gorillas that have been experimented on in Earth-2, which is more than likely called Gorilla City.

Jonah Hex

DC's western bounty hunter is set to appear in the upcoming Legends of Tomorrow episode "The Magnificent Eight" and will be played by Johnathon Schaech.

Legion Flight Ring

The recognizable Flight Ring from DC's 31st Century superteam The Legion of Super-Heroes seems to hint that the Legion could be appearing on a DC TV series at some point, or perhaps it's hinting that Booster Gold, who stole a Flight Ring and was revealed as the father of Rip Hunter, will appear on Legends of Tomorrow.
