Doomsday Clock #1

This past Wednesday, we got the release of the first issue of Doomsday Clock #1, the limited series that will finally introduces the characters from the twelve issue Watchmen series from 1986-1987 created by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons to the more widely known superheroes of the DC Universe.

This past week the BIG news hit the internet: long time and prolific Marvel Comics writer Brian Michael Bendis announced his upcoming departure from Marvel Comics when he signed a contract with rival DC Comics.

While many have debated if perhaps the trend of introducing new characters in the guises of original heroes is the main factor in slumping sales, Marvel has promised Legacy will bring back many classic elements (and issue numbering) while still satisfying the fans of the new generation of characters.

Better Than Batman (Why Batman's Allies Will Eclipse Him In The DCEU)

I believe after the financial success and critical acclaim Wonder Woman generated, the powers that be realized that not every DC movie has to be “Batman Dark”, grim and gritty. 

I have a theory that the upcoming (and possible future) spinoff movies starring Batman’s sidekicks and allies will surpass the current iteration of Batman in ticket sales and popularity.

Moon Knight on Netflix (Why The Hero And His Alter Egos Deserve Their Own Series)

But there is one hero who constantly keeps getting mentioned by fans as a favorite choice for an upcoming Netflix series—Moon Knight! 

While those not as familiar with the character sometimes compare him to DC Comics Batman, Moon Knight is more complex and not as predictable.
